Last weekend a great time was had at the Produced by Conference held on the Sony lot. We showed the trailer around and the ebook created on iBook author.  We hope to have that up on the iTunes, iBook store within a week or two. We're waiting to hear back from the first studio soon.

Update April 8th
We have heartily accepted the Buchwald Agency as our agents to represent our movie "Life's an Itch" to the studios and distributors. We have always been supported by the agency in our casting and working through the production cycle. We couldn't be happier welcoming Michael Greenwald, Vice President of the Buchwald Agency to the team.

Update March 6th
We have the first comedic teaser trailer up now on YouTube. http://youtu.be/186-StOWtss
The movie is now a ripping 95 minutes on our way to 90.

Update March 3rd.
Well we've done it, we now have a 97 minute cut of the movie and it looks great, is fast paced and in a few parts really tugs the heart strings. At a lot of places it's laugh out loud entertainment. Now to the music!!!

Update Feb 17th
Has it been a month since we shot the principal photography? That means we've been transcoding and editing for a month. A few more weeks and we can start showing it. Editing is the wax-on, wax-off Mr Miagi style of diligent work that you just gotta bare through.  We've almost got all the scenes in now, then to some more temp tracks and another audio pass. This movie has a lot of music. After that pass, we'll see just how long it really is. I get the feeling we'll be shortening some Yoga and Party scenes.  We know there is more material than we need and that's a good thing. We've been growing the Twitter campaign Please join in the conversation with us above.

Update Jan 29th
We had a great Wrap party last night in Hollywood at the Parlor. We created a wonderful family and the whole vibe of the movie permeated the room.

Update, Jan 23rd
Thank you, Lin Shaye, for hosting a great little get-together for the principal cast. It was truly enjoyable meeting a bunch of your friends and family... even your new puppy.

Were deep in the throws of transcoding from the two Red Cameras, Red One and the Epic. We start the real editing this week and all I can say is the footage and performances are great.

Lin Shaye Party, Kevin Kent, Life's an Itch

Update, Jan 16th
THAT'S A WRAP!
We finished principal photography last week. It was better than expected. We'll start posting cast and shoooting info soon and some interviews that we did on set too. Piling through 6 Terabytes of Red Camera footage today... Yikes.

Update Jan 9th
We had a tremendous week of shooting. All Red, two camera's rolling, Lin Shaye playing the whacky Neighbor "Gloria" was truly hysterical, (Special thanks to the Buchwald and Associates for putting that together)  the Yoga sequences were phenomonal that Jesse Goldin helped to choreograph.  The Yoga party dance sequenced when the dancing machine/actress and wife chracter "Jen" Andrea Bogart stepped in a shook the choreography out big time.

It's hard to put into words how pleased and impressed everyone from Scripty to Boom ops were of how Ali Cobrin could bring out the quirky but lovable character of "Gillian." What a pleasure and blessing this week was. We'll start to post some images, movies and interviews soon. Thank you all. We have officially scratched the itch.

Update Dec 28th
We are so happy and proud to announce that our lead female part will be played by the amazing Ali Cobrin.  We're tapping all of her massive skills in yoga, ballet, music and of course her incredible comedic timing as an actress. This Friday she gets together with one of California's most incredible yogini's Jesse Golden to go cover the Yoga sequence from the movie. Jesse has signed on to help produce this segment and choreograph the sequence with Ali. We are all so excited. P.S. You also see Ali in the soon to be released, "American Reunion" the next installemtn in the American Pie franchise. We'd also like to thank Jon Hurwitz from American Reunion for taking the time to talk to our Director, Kevin Kent about Ali as an incredible and delightful talent. Who says there's no love in Hollywood?

When you see the sequences with Ryan Meharry and Walter Hariss, You will ask yourself where these guys have been hiding. Two of the funniest guys you'll ever see.

Update Dec. 5th
Derick Sebastian and Kevin Kent are on the last pass of composing the theme song for the movie. The cong of course entitle "Life's an Itch"  To see more about Hawaiian ukelele virtuoso check out his web site: CLICK HERE

Update Dec. 3rd.
Yesterday, we did another casting session for the revised comedic rol of Gillian Gracin.  We auditioned about 30 young ladies and it was gruelling! OK, no one believes that. SO now we must review the headshots, look at the tape twice and decide who gets to be naughty or nice.

Update Nov. 26th
Well, here we go again. we are re-casting the lead female role. It;'s been postes on the breakdowns. We are shooting again in January, so it gives us about amonth to find a comedic, yogi, experienced actress in her 20's with a decent IMDB rating. This time comedic timing first. We are doing the first round of auditions next week. Please feel free to write to us directly. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

We've added a lot of photos from the location under the photo menu.

Update October 27th -
We shot last week on location and are editing like crazy now for something to take appropriate for AFM. The shoot was stressful but fantastic in how everyone did their most incredible best to get a nearly impossible schedule.  We'll start to post some producers comments and cast notes over the week end.

Update October 3rd - We are casting this week, crew has been secured, DP selected, location secured. WOW! Thanks to everyone for their help along the road thus far. It's going to be a great ride.
